The Dental Practice Ruislip is situated in the London Borough of Hillingdon. At the Dental Practice Ruislip, we aim to keep your teeth, mouth and gums clean and healthy. The Dental Practice is situated in Ruislip High Street Middlesex, which is in Hillingdon. The practice has been on the same site for over 50 years, with Jeremy Asquith providing NHS and private dentistry there for over 20 years. The practice has a number of experienced dentists in Ruislip who provide general NHS and private dental care to both adults and children in a friendly environment.

NHS Dental Treatment
National Health Service (NHS) general dental treatments are available to everyone, to receive treatment you need to book an appointment with a NHS dentist. It is important to note that patients are charged according to three bands, which are national and prices are fixed by the government. Please click here for more information on costs and bands. How to book your first appointment at the practice
The practice is currently accepting new NHS patients. To book your first appointment please phone the practice on 01895 672 535 for opening hours click here.

When you contact the practice, you will speak to a nurse or a receptionist, please inform them that you are interested in registering as a new NHS patient. They will then ask you for your name, contact details and date of birth plus if you have a preference, which dentist you would like to see. Once this information has been noted, they will book you your first appointment. If you do not have a preference as to which dentist you see, we are usually able to offer new patient appointments within a week. We will usually ring you the day before your appointment to remind you of the time.

What to expect from your first appointment
When you arrive at the practice for your first appointment, please tell a nurse/receptionist that you have arrived, informing them that you are a new patient. They will then ask you to fill out a confidential medical history form (click here to see the form) alternatively please print the form and bring it with you. Once the form has been completed and given to your dentist, they will then carry out a full NHS check up.
You are likely to have x-rays during your first visit. The price for your first visit will be unknown until the dentist has carried out a full NHS examination.
During your first appointment, the dentist will:
At the end of your first appointment, you will be asked to sign a NHS form, which asks whether you pay for your NHS treatment or if you are exempt. If you pay, then you will be charged the appropriate NHS dental band.
Alternatively, if you are in receipt of a state benefit which entitles you to free NHS treatment, you will be asked to show your dentist written proof that you do not have to pay for all or part of your NHS treatment. You will also be asked to sign a form to confirm that you do not have to pay. If you say you have the right to free treatment when you do not, you may incur a penalty charge.

Disability Access to the Practice
The practice is located on the first floor and regretfully there is no disabled/wheelchair access. Patients need to be able to walk up a single flight of stairs in order to gain access. If you are concerned with access please contact the practice on 01895 672 535.
