Orthodontic Treatment

Children's Orthodontic Treatment
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer orthodontic treatment. In most cases, you or your child will need to be referred to a local orthodontist by one of our dentists. We advise you to book an appointment with us for a consultation. If one of our dentists feel that you or your child needs orthodontic treatment, then in discussion with you, a referral will be made to a local orthodontist.

NHS/Private Orthodontic Treatment
You may have to decide whether to have treatment privately or on the NHS. NHS orthodontic treatment is free for people under the age of 18 with a clear clinical need for treatment. An orthodontic specialist will make this decision. Unfortunately, due to the high demand on local NHS services, there can be long waiting lists for NHS orthodontic treatment.
If you or your child does not qualify for free NHS treatment, or you don't want to wait for treatment to start, you may choose to have private treatment. Private treatment is widely available but can be expensive, with an average fee of between £2000 and £6000.
